Wright School has remained a steadfast advocate for the educational rights of its students. In recent years, Wright has worked to not only improve academic outcomes but also to foster a climate of inclusivity and cultural awareness, aligning with broader conversations about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We are a PROUD School District of Philadelphia School serving some of the best students in our city!
Our Mission
Our daily mission is to provide instruction that will result in our students performing on or above grade level in an effort to prepare them for middle school and beyond on a path of their choosing. Reflecting a commitment to empowering students with the tools they need to succeed academically while also fostering an understanding of the social and historical context that shapes their lives. Through community engagement and a focus on social justice education, Wright will continue to play a key role in advocating for positive change in its neighborhood.
Our Vision

Our students will develop a passion for learning that will result in a strong foundation that they can use to achieve future success, through the development of collaboration skills and exercising perseverance.
